As you look for a new role it can be easy to get pulled into the notion that larger corporate firms offer the very best working environment, the best salaries, better perks and more career development and sometimes this can be the case. But it can be a better choice to develop your career within a smaller firm where your true talent can shine.
Figures released by the Federation of Small Businesses at the start of 2014 have shown that an incredible 99% of all private sector business in the UK were small or medium sized firms and they employed more than 15 million people. More impressively, they had a combined turnover of £1.6 billion.
Working for a small business can be profitable, fun and empowering. Big brother will not be watching your every move. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic choices the business makes and get fully involved in every aspect of the organisation.
Smaller recruitment agencies offer great opportunities to learn and develop. Decisions are made quickly and implemented fast. If you have an idea and wish to pursue it, then you will have the backing to do so.
At Creative Tax Recruitment each person makes a difference to what we do. We are small in number, but big in attitude and ambition.

Why join us?
This is an opportunity to really be part of something that can offer you a tremendous future. I believe the next 2 people that I hire will be critical to the success of the business. The people I take on will be fast tracked to leadership positions. We are essentially looking to recruit the directors of tomorrow.
“I have been at Creative Tax Recruitment for 7 years - the longest I have worked anywhere!
I like the freedom and responsibility you have working here. I get to set my own agenda and have lots of support. This is a sales role, but we work as consultants. I like the fact that I can take a consultative approach to what I do and take my time with the projects that I focus on. I will not pretend that working as a recruiter is always a bed of roses, but the set up here is better than a lot of larger organisations that I have worked for”
Victoria Knowles, Associate Director
