The successful candidate will work within a talented and enthusiastic Research and Development Tax incentive team composed of professionals with a wide range of backgrounds in the fields of IT, science and engineering, and software.  
 

About the Role

While the role is within the R&D field, it involves directly working on R&D activities. But instead, the recruit will compile claim reports for the firm’s clients. These reports will demonstrate to HMRC why the client’s technological projects qualify for R&D tax relief. 

Typical duties of the role include:

* Working closely with clients to compile R&D tax incentive claims.

* Holding discussions with clients to identify projects that may qualify for R&D tax relief.

* Writing technical descriptions and claim reports in line with HMRC requirements.

* Working on financial analysis projects to help clients identify qualifying R&D expenditures.

* Managing the firm’s growing number of clients to achieve a balanced workload.
