Questions you can ask the Interviewer

An interview is as much about you finding out about them as it is the other way around. Making intelligent and role-focused comments and questions will show a genuine interest and commitment to the role. You need to have some questions prepared in advance. This will also help you to gather valuable information about the position and management.

Some example questions:

  • What are the teams/company's future expansion plans?
  • What are the opportunities for advancement?
  • What is the culture of the organisation?
  • What about the background of the management team?
  • What do you envisage my role to be, considering my experience and skills?
  • What opportunities are there for study or training?
  • What is the team structure and how will I fit in?
