I am recruiting for a North London firm that is growing at an unstoppable rate. The success of this firm is being driven by organic growth, acquisition and strategic management decisions. One of these decisions has been to secure a number of senior hires. The firm is on track to triple in size in the next couple of years.
The partner that you will be working alongside is one of these resent acquisitions. He is Big 4 trained and has extensive experience developing and successfully building both teams and businesses. After speaking with him it is clear that this new position will be one of the most vital to the team’s future success.
You will be working closely with the partner who will be exposing you to complex projects and business development. To begin with you will be meeting with clients, delivering advice and taking over your own portfolio. Your next step will be to support the business development so that the teams portfolio continues to grow. Once the portfolio is large enough you will be taking on someone to support you and the partner.
You will be working with clients that range from SMEs to large international corporations from a range of sectors. This is a complex portfolio which offers the opportunity to work with a diverse spectrum of tax issues. You will advise clients on all aspects of tax planning, from UK only advisory work to international structuring work, exit planning, R&D, transactions, wealth extraction and review planning.
As the firm grows the partner expects that it will need to take on several more partners to deal with the volume of work. You will have the opportunity to progress up to partner level. It is clear that you will not simply be a number at a desk. You will be a well-known and respected individual whose decision will effect the growth of the team. The partner is looking for someone who is out-going, motivated and wants to be part of the decision making process
