Job description

We are working with an independent practice based in North Kent. The partners have recently put in place a plan to grow the firm’s corporate tax presence. In order to achieve this the corporate tax partner wants to bring on a senior corporate tax professional with the ambition to progress to partner.

The firm have a sizable OMB client base. There is plenty of opportunity to generate more work from the existing client base to and grow it further by undertaking business development alongside the partners. This will allow you the opportunity to present at client seminars, attend networking events and write articles for industry specific publications. Alongside the development aspect of the role, you will have the opportunity to engage in complex advisory work. Typical work includes corporate transactions including company sales and purchases, MBO’s, EIS and anything associated with an SME  client base.

There is a real opportunity to develop your role and your position within the firm, as your team builds. The partners are currently in the early stages of succession planning and foresee the successful applicant becoming a partner.
