As a member of this trust team, you will deal with the management of trusts, manage tax efficient structures, deal with the trustees and the ad hoc issues of your clients. This is a great opportunity to develop your client skills and learn what it means to be a trusted adviser.
Some aspects of the role:
•Deal with your own portfolio of high quality trust clients - Discretionary, interest in Possession, Charity and Bare trusts and Executorships
•Maintain the trust database and manage junior staff
•Provide Ad Hoc tax planning and deal with general tax queries
•Trust Estate taxation and accounting to include the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns, production of CGT what if statements, calculation of IHT exit charges, 10 year charges, completion and submission of HMRC forms etc
You will ideally be STEP qualified (or have the equivalent experience)
