Job description
Due to the expansion of the firm we are looking to recruit a Tax Manager to work as part of the Dual-Handling UK-US Tax team of this niche international tax driven firm.
Responsibilities will include:
• Ultimate responsibility for a client list and all incorporating issues
• Technical, personal and administrative development of seniors and assistants
• Final review and sign-out of tax returns
• Managing work in progress, debtors and bills
• Risk management assessment and communication with senior managers and Directors
• Continually developing and updating own technical knowledge
• Development of specialist technical area
• Coordination with senior manager on work-flow and staffing issues
• Participating in decision-making within the management group
• Dealing with personnel issues as well as acting as a mentor
• Overall responsibility for allocated staff
• Writing and conducting allocated staff appraisals
Essential requirements:
• Previous experience at Manager level
• High level of up to date tax issues
• Good communication and organisational skills
