This firm is looking to be the go-to partner of the tech startup community. The Managing Director’s vision is to provide a holistic range of services to put their clients in the best position for growth both in the UK and internationally.

They take this very seriously … but other than that, the culture is very relaxed in most other respects! For example, the team all wear their own clothes to the office; each has their own MacBooks to complete their work, and no one is clock watching. The team is diverse, but they all get along well together, and you will frequently witness jokes being thrown across the open-plan office.



The Role

The position will be advisory focused with you only spending approximately 30% of your time on compliance. You will have a great deal of client interaction as you manage your portfolio. Projects you will be involved with can include:



• Corporate acquisitions and disposals 


• Dealing with share for share exchanges 


• Dealing with corporation tax and income tax-related queries related to funding/share transfers/issue of new shares 


• CGT advice to companies and individuals - shares/funding


• EIS advice and preparation of documentation


• EMI Share Schemes / CSOP's


• R&D Tax Credits


• Advising growing businesses on efficient tax structuring.

This is a growing consultancy with plenty of room to progress and become more involved with strategic decision making.
