If you’re a tax professional with previous experience working in a business and corporate tax capacity, then this role may be of interest to you. This leading firm is looking for a senior manager to join its corporate tax team. The position provides a range of challenging and exciting tasks that will make the most of -- and develop -- your existing skills. 

You’ll work on tax matters such as share schemes, R&D, restructuring, planning, and compliance. As this is a more senior role, you’ll also assist with and review the work of more junior staff members and provide coaching and training as and when needed. In addition, you’ll liaise with other departments within the firm, including the corporate tax team and audit teams. To succeed in the role, you’ll draw upon your technical expertise, which you’ll use to provide outstanding front-line client service.

The client base of the firm is diverse. As such, you’ll work on a wide range of tasks. In general, you’ll be focused on owner-managed businesses with a turnover of between £5m and £100m. However, there’ll also be opportunities to work on international business tasks and tax matters. You’ll work directly on the tax affairs of the company but also serve as the tax advisor to the owner-managers now, helping them find the balance between their tax obligations and those of their company.
