The role of a recruitment consultant is complex with many moving parts; however these are some aspects of the role:
Work to build a relationship with existing clients and forge new relationships by targeting potential new prospects:
•Pro-actively cold call new clients and existing ones.
•Attend client visits to take on search remits and build the relationship.
Work to source and develop relationships with potential and existing candidates:
•Source candidates by calling prospects from the database and actively head hunting individuals in target firms.
•Assess and interview potential candidates (over the phone and in person) for your roles.
Focus on marketing and advertising to raise the agency’s profile and attract new clients and candidates:
•Write high quality adverts and mailings.
•Get involved in increasing the agencies social media message and contribute to articles.
