You will have the support of other R&D tax professionals from other offices and, of course, the partners in the office who have expertise. 


The position will allow you the freedom to develop a successful R&D tax function. 

As the R&D tax expert, you will be responsible for deciding the strategic direction of the R&D sector.  There is a sizeable fee base in place and more that can be generated from existing clients. You will also have the support and budget to develop more business. 

What will you have to do accomplish in your first year? 

Take charge and consolidate the R&D tax fees.

Put together a plan that will allow you to grow fees from existing clients and new targets.

Work out your resources and recruit high-quality people that will allow you to smash your targets.

Some aspects of the position:

Manage clients and deliver R&D tax projects.

Manage the preparation of R&D claims for submission to HMRC.

Develop internal and external relationships to generate opportunity and work.

Prepare and deliver advice to clients on R&D work.

Prospects:

Advance to director. The team want you to make a director and build a successful R&D tax practice.
