Job Description

The Manchester office of this Top firm offers you the opportunity to progress your career. As a VAT manager within the indirect tax team you will primarily have an advisory focus, being responsible for supporting the VAT Director in providing VAT advice and consultancy services to clients in a range of multinational businesses, international, and UK, listed and private companies, central and local government, non-profit making organisations and financial institutions.

Some aspects of the role:

•Provide assistance with the management of a portfolio of clients
•Develop the VAT service offering by using advisory skills and dealing with projects
•Business development
•Support senior management on VAT planning and other ad hoc projects;
•Advise clients and partners with regard to VAT, including changes to legislation and practice;
•Manage the successful delivery of VAT projects
