The tax practice has grown considerably over the last few years thanks to a focus on hiring the right talent and investing in a strategy that is designed to generate high quality work. The partners and senior staff are some of the best in the business and include tax professionals from the Big 4, Top 10 and the mid-tier.
Your clients will include fast moving entrepreneurs, HNW families with complex international tax issues and landed estates. A lot of the tax planning will have a high level of international focus and will involve you working closely with other teams to really offer value to your clients.
The work and responsibility you will have here is second to none and will make use of your ability to manage projects and client relationships. You will further develop your technical skills alongside your commercial skills to ensure that you develop as a well-rounded tax professional.
The team has a great track record of furthering talent and will certainly provide you with the tools to make the leap to director. I will not pretend that it is an easy move to go from senior manager to director, as making the leap (and it is a leap) is not just a case of turning up and hitting your mark. However, this is a fast growing tax team in a firm that is investing for the future. If you have the right qualities and can generate a business case for director (if you have read this far into the advert, I will assume it’s safe to say you are and can) then you will be looking to make director in a 24-36 month time frame.
