Working within the private client tax team, your role would be to provide broad tax compliance and advisory services to many clients, including high net worth individuals, partners, and owner-managed businesses. Duties as a private client tax manager

You'll treat the success of the team and firm as your success. A positive mindset, energy, and enthusiasm for your role and proactive approach to improving operations are critical.

As a manager, you'll help other members of the team succeed and will provide ongoing feedback and support, as well as training. As a more senior member of the group, you'll have a hand in the firm's continued success and get involved in office and firm-wide activities and events.


Client Responsibilities

You'll manage the personal tax affairs of the clients in your portfolio, ensuring full tax compliance and looking at future tax planning opportunities. You'll delegate some work to other staff members and then review their job to ensure it's completed to the highest possible standards. You'll liaise with HMRC, investment managers, banks, and stockbrokers. You will also handle the client billing procedures and operate with the firm's reputation and revenue in mind.


Prospects:

Definitely not static! This is a sizeable and growing practice. You can make senior manager in 12 - 30 months depending on your experience and more to the point ability.
