I have a position with a fast growing independent firm in Bury St Edmunds. The practice has seen double digit growth and has plans to double in size over the next 5 years. The practice is headed up by a friendly and motivated set of partners. The firm does not believing in overworking its staff and people (partners included) go home at a decent hour.
The role: Half your time would involve you dealing with the tax advisory work (IHT, CGT, income tax) and the other half would be focused on the management and review of the team. The firm combines the technical expertise you would find at a larger firm with the freedom you would get in a firm of this size.
Some areas that the firm deal with include…..
- Non Resident tax planning and compliance for individuals
- Income planning
- CGT planning
- Complex Inheritance tax and estate planning
- Capital allowance reviews
- Advice regarding tax efficient benefits and remuneration
What do you need to qualify?
You do not have to tick every box, but you will need to have a credible tax background.
