The role will involve you working directly with senior private client tax specialists on critical projects. One of these partners will act as your mentor ensuring you develop your client skills and technical knowledge.

Working directly with the partners will give you a high level of visibility to all senior decision-makers - invaluable if you want to get ahead.


The work is diverse with a strong international slant. Experience in dealing with non-dom, cross border tax planning, double tax treaties and the general issues facing top UK HNWI’s will be important. 

The prospects are also excellent, with a genuine opportunity to make partners.


Firm and clients:

The private client tax team has plenty of work thanks primarily to an existing client base that can be mined for high-level consultancy fees. In addition to this, the partners are good at winning work, and there is plenty of great quality referrals coming through the doors. Clients are primarily HNWI’s and ultra HNWI’s, many of whom are internationally mobile.


Some aspects of the role:

• Provide private client tax planning advice to a portfolio of clients, including HNWIs and ultra HNWIs.  
• Attend high-level client meetings, networking and marketing-related events for the firm.
• Take the lead in building and furthering client relationships with existing clients.  
• Perform reviews of complex tax compliance work and lead in more complex personal tax cases.

Prospects:

You can develop into a technical guru and continue to work with the firm's most complex private client work, or you can advance to partner.
