​Employment Tax Assistant Manager | Reading | Broaden Your Advisory Experience

The opportunity to build a much broader advisory skill set.

You’ll join a specialist Employment Taxes team in Reading, working with owner-managed businesses and larger corporate groups on a varied mix of compliance, advisory and transaction-related work.

The role covers PAYE, National Insurance, benefits in kind, salary sacrifice, CIS, IR35 and employment status, but you’ll also gain exposure to more specialist areas including EMI share schemes, growth shares, employment-related securities, tax valuations and employment tax due diligence.

That breadth is one of the main attractions of the role. You won’t be limited to recurring compliance work and will have the opportunity to become involved in more complex client issues as your experience develops.

You’ll work closely with experienced specialists across the wider tax team, build direct client relationships and continue developing both your technical and advisory skills.

The team is growing, which should also give you good scope to take on more responsibility as you progress.

The role is based in Reading with flexible working.
